Taking that first step and making the first call to seek emotional help can feel like the walk of death. There is so much negativity associated with asking for and receiving mental health care. I too struggled with the first call and the first appt. I also struggled with the hurt, pain, shame, anxiety, overwhelm and regret of the past that held me hostage. Hitting that place of no return is where the war, battle, and struggle are most intense.

Welcome to the online home of Dr. Sherri Broadwater (AKA Dr. Sherri Psych), an adult, teen and child psychiatrist and life coach. Dr. Sherri is passionately devoted to the health and well-being of cis and transgender under-represented women/people and their families. Her mission is to help transform chaos, frustration, and pain into Health, Wealth, Joy & Safety.

Through Dr. Sherri’s person-centered psychiatric and coaching practice, she partners with patients and clients (as well as with family members, therapists, physicians, agents, companies, and consultants if desired) to develop a holistic plan creating mind-body-spirit harmony.

Integrated wellness referrals include emotional skill-building classes, medical experts, psychotherapy, nutrition coaching, Reiki, yoga, mindful meditation, herbal supplements, spiritual practice, career coaching, business empowerment opportunities, social networking, and exercise.
